About Damson Preloved.
Damson Preloved is all about recycling. I source quality secondhand clothing and accessories and curate collections to suit all sizes, styles and budgets.
My aim is to provide a guilt free shopping experience: preloved clothes mean no adding to overproduction, reusing resources means minimal environmental impact.
I often choose natural and eco fabrics, dresses with pockets are a favourite too, and I love a puffed sleeve!
My business cards and clothes tags are hand printed on repurposed cardboard, using eco ink and string ties are also obtained secondhand.
Sourcing
All items are individually sourced by myself, and carefully checked to ensure everything is in great condition, so you can shop with confidence.
I do not offer a consignment service or buy direct from customers.
How to measure to ensure a great fit.
I provide measurements for most items so you can check before you order if required. I recommend comparing the measurements to a similar item that fits you well.
Measurements are taken with the item laid flat and are in inches unless otherwise stated.
Bust : pit to pit and doubled
Waist : edge to edge and doubled at the top of the waistband of trousers or skirts, or at the narrowest part/natural waistline of a dress
Hips : edge to edge and doubled, across the widest part of the bottom/hips
Rise : from the top of the front waistband to the point where the seams meet under the crotch
Inside leg : from the seam joint to the hem
Length : from the top of the shoulder/shoulder seam to the hem

Shipping.
I aim to post your items by the next working day following receipt of your payment.
Orders are carefully wrapped in recycled brown paper, using brown paper tape, and then sealed in repurposed plastic to ensure they reach you safely.
I use Royal Mail rather than couriers as using an established delivery route is more sustainable and eco-conscious.
Orders from Damson Preloved and the Not Needing New category (sourced and sold by Anna @notneedingnew) will be dispatched together from Damson Preloved
UK postage and packing is £3.95
Express delivery if selected will be sent “Royal Mail Next Day 1pm”
I will endeavour to post all orders by the working day following receipt of payment. Often orders are sent the same day
Proof of posting is obtained for every order.

Returns.
Refunds are offered on all items, 14 days from the date of purchase. Items must be unused and in the same condition as you received them, tags must still be attached.
If you would like to return an item, please email damsonpreloved@gmail.com.
You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Once the item has been received and checked you will be refunded via the original payment method, minus the original shipping cost.
